“Love is not Feeling, it’s an Ability…”

“Adore no se siente, es una capacidad”…

That was the one line in the whole movie that the young Spanish actor, had… and the one that lingered hours later as ambiguously profound. After the movie ended, “Dan in Real Life,” K and I had a long conversation about it. What does this mean exactly? Can it be both a feeling and an ability? Does love evolve into an ability, or a feeling?

About an hour, and a number of digressions later, we finally agreed that love does indeed enable… and there are a number of things that enable love… now does that make love an ability? The verdict is still out on that one..
