Who Peed in Mother Nature’s Cheerios?

The onset of natural disaster after natural disaster in the last year… particularly in the last month… got me thinking. Someone must have really ticked off Mommy Nature…

Just in the last seven days… there have been tornadoes in South East US, a cyclone in Myanmar, and an Earthquake in China?!?! What in tarnation is going on? Here’s my theory… just like most women… when we’ve had enough… we get even. All of the mistreatment that man (and woman) have invoked over the years have put Lady World at her tipping point.

In 2007, the top 10 natural disasters were (according to Time)…

1. Bangladesh Cyclones
2. Southeast U.S. Droughts
3. Mexico Floods
4. Hurricane Felix
5. Indonesian Mud Volcano
6. South Asia Floods
7. North Korea Floods
8. Earthquake in Peru
9. Greece Forest Fires
10. China Floods

HOWEVER… the top 10 man-made disasters were (according to Time) …

1. GLOBAL WARMING
2. Brazil Plane Crash
3. S. California Forrest Fires
4. Yangtze River Dolphin Extinction
5. Minneapolis Bridge Collapse
6. Utah Mine Collapse
7. North Korea Oil Pipe Explosion
8. Siberia Mine Explosion
9. Mozambique Munitions Explosion
10. Congo Train Derailment

I would personally like to add the WAR ON IRAQ, as a man-made disaster, but that’s just K’s opinion. At any rate, I think I have a solution…
