Do, Ra, Me, Fa, So, La…

Ti…

Well, tea.

My mother and I went shopping today, our monthly ritual.  While I was in the Apple store, looking for ways to spend money I really didn’t have, my mom chatted up her sister-in-law in the only place she could get cell phone signal… on a bench, across from what would become our new favorite [...]

San Francisco from the 22nd Story

While the insanely expeditious, and slightly nauseating trip up to the 22nd floor sent my stomach tumbling to my toes, the view made it worth the ride. Excited about my upgrade from the 6th floor, to the 22nd - I thought to myself ’sweet, I get to ride the infamous glass elevators.’ The street [...]

Ten Days, Ten Failures

I am both proud and terrified to announce that I am ten, yes… TEN days away from running my first half marathon. Training has been…well…interesting. While I am confident I will finish the marathon (solely on my natural ability to run, and my sheer stubbornness to keep running under any circumstance) - I [...]

From Daisy’s Perspective

Mile High Birthday

I woke up on the morning of my birthday, to the flight attendant asking me if I wanted orange juice. I was on my way to London. I looked across my sound sleeping boyfriend, and this image is what I saw. Happy Birthday to me.

Without Walls

For no reason whatsoever, I felt inclined to walk through a train yard… with my camera of course. Outside of getting those little prickly things stuck to my clothes, I got some pretty good shots.

Atlanta, Meet “Amazing”

A beautiful sunset, accented with a little more orange than normal, a truly beautiful Sunday evening. This is another proud moment in my very short-lived career as a photographer.

Perfectly Natural

The optimistic side of my brain would say, “wow, it’s almost as if this frog… and this porch plant were meant to be together… how sweet it is that they found each other.” However, my rarely seen alter ego may rise from the woodworks and say “uh, all tree frogs are green, so it aint [...]
